These 3 lights were purchased to illuminate my flagpole. I have tried placing them in different positions, but they are not powerful enough to properly illuminate the flag.

I read the other reviews before I made this purchase and thought for the price I'd give them a try. I've had them now about two weeks. It's winter as I write this and my solar panel only gets direct light for less than half the day. Even still, the lights are decently bright for about 5-6 hours. My one complaint is their fragility. I wasn't expecting steel-construction level quality but it almost seems like you can look at them funny and the base snaps off. I have two of the three taped together. Not exactly what I had in mind. So, the lights function pretty much as advertised but put them away from any animals, children, lawn equipment, angry gnomes, or rabid fairies.

These lights work great on the first day (using the initial factory charge). After that night, they were never that bright again...even after a complete battery change! The lights are not nearly as bright as advertised, even when charging in full sun.
