This co-sleeper is really very lovely, and practical. It attaches firmly to the bed, is sturdy, and the mesh sides allow baby to see out. I take away one star because the mattress is very hard. In fact, we have a folded towel, topped by a thin felt/waterproof pad, with a folded muslin blanket on top of that. This makes it just about right, still quite firm and safe. At any rate, this aids nighttime nursing and lets baby be close.

I loved this bassinet as soon as I saw it online. I'm lucky I finally found one to order, almost every site had them sold out.I'm expecting my second daughter in just another week, and I can't wait to see her in this bassinet. It's really just as lovely as the picture online. It has a nice solid frame. The mattress is great, it's not a flimsy piece of plastic like a "pack n' play" uses. You can attach this bassinet right to your bed frame so it will not pull away if baby moves around. It really was not difficult to assemble, just make sure you're reading the instructions for the correct model. It's also a good Idea to give the skirt a good steam press before you put it together.

Just went to the ER today after I found my 4 month old with his face wedged in the corner.
When I picked him up he was blue.
(He is fine now but I am getting rid of the co-sleeper!)
This co-sleeper is not safe once they can wiggle around at all. My 4 month old cannot roll over yet.
In the past couple of days he began kicking his legs enough to move himself around.
I believe his ability to move himself around coupled with the co-sleeper's corner that is NOT mesh contributed
to this horrible event. He could have died!
